CURRENT EXERCISE ACTION
WATCH FOR
The dock is an exercise overlay, not installed period equipment. In VR, ray-select the floating KICK console. Library/source/export dialogs open in the browser after leaving VR.
Recognize the gas influx. Communicate the thermal risk.
2,400 m MD / 2,200 m TVD. Reservoir context: 220 °C, authored rather than measured. This exercise models a non-combustible gas influx, surface containment and handover. It does not calculate steam flashing or a geothermal kill.
Inspect the cooling package and remote separator/muffler from Exterior or Separator / muffler. No combustion flare is fitted in this exercise.
Well-control practice
Learn the floor. Read the well.
Choose a guided lesson to practice kick recognition, containment, pressure handover and kill circulation. Starting a lesson creates a new run.
Model SCR estimate: — kPa at selected rate
Knowledge practice · controls remain manual. Operator procedures and validated equipment limits govern real well-control operations.
Rig controls
Look around from the floor or exterior, pause the scene, and revisit any chapter. The historical outcome stays fixed.
Operate the walking beam and bailer.
Watch uncommanded well flow and fluid level. This historical interpretation has no BOP or circulating kill method. Surface gas is unrouted; no modern capture or flare retrofit is fitted.
Bailer ready · stop the beam before bailing.
