Keep a geologist nearby.

A transparent character above your other apps, with its own chat window—no separate browser needed. After first setup it works offline; geological answers need an internet connection.

  1. Download the ZIP and choose Extract All.
  2. Open START-GEOBRAIN.cmd. The first launch downloads a verified 151 MB runtime automatically. Keep the extracted folder for later launches.
  3. Tap to chat and sign in with your Infinity account. Drop PDF/TXT articles, PNG/JPEG/WebP images or LAS/CSV data directly onto the character. geobrAIn shows your files and asks what you want to do: summarize, extract details, analyze geology, compare files, or ask your own question. Articles save to your Geological Library; AI analysis begins when you press Ask geobrAIn. Drag it onto a visible Wellsight StripLog or HorizontalLog, review the captured window, then ask about reservoir quality, samples or curves. Use Read aloud to hear answers. Select Check for updates at the bottom of chat to check the chat and Windows companion versions.

Hide brings it off screen; right-click the tray icon to show it again. Close quits. This preview is unsigned and may prompt Windows security checks.

A floating character on your phone, including foldable screens. You choose when to start it and when to stop.

  1. Download the APK and open it to install. Your phone may ask to allow installs from your browser.
  2. Open geobrAin, tap Allow floating character, and enable Display over other apps for geobrAin.
  3. Return to geobrAin and tap Start on phone screen. Tap Close or the notification’s Stop to remove it.

Chat opens inside the geobrAin app. Use Take rock photo to open the camera, or Import specimen photo to choose existing pictures. Select Identify specimen, add any locality or test observations, then press Ask geobrAIn. geobrAIn offers possible identities and useful follow-up checks; a photo alone cannot confirm every rock or mineral. Tap Read aloud on an answer, or enable automatic reading in Sound & voice. The character doesn’t read your screen or other apps. Animation pauses on lock and respects disabled system animations.

IPHONE, IPAD & OTHER COMPUTERS

The browser companion and chat are available on any screen. On iPhone and iPad, this option stays inside the browser; it does not float above other apps.

Geological Library. Open geobrAin and your saved articles. Importing papers requires an editor account. Workspace members can return to the library and ask questions across saved research.

Sound & voice. Soft chimes mark chat and answers; an optional beat accompanies the dance. Mute effects separately from read-aloud. Choose an installed voice, reading speed, or automatic reading of new answers. Stop reading ends playback. AI answers need internet. Upgrading? Close the old Windows app before launching the new package; install the new Android APK over your previous preview.

You’re in control. The apps start only when you open them. No automatic startup or background screen monitoring. Windows captures a visible Wellsight window only when you drag the character onto it. Review the capture before asking; images and LAS/CSV log data stay in chat. Articles are saved automatically to your signed-in workspace Geological Library, with originals, searchable text and duplicate detection. The library grows beyond 100 papers. Files may be up to 15 MB; PDFs up to 300 pages. Scanned articles save their originals and preview the first four pages; OCR enables full-text search. Walking and occasional dances happen while idle. Close removes the character.

Preview release. Packages compile and pass integrity checks. Windows and Android device testing is still needed before a production release.
