WEST-CENTRAL & CENTRAL SASKATCHEWAN - OFFLINE VIEWER
Release: 28 October 2026

START
1. Extract the complete ZIP and keep all folders together.
2. Open a terminal in the extracted WC_Central_Saskatchewan_Offline_Viewer folder.
3. Use an existing Python 3 installation:
   Windows: py serve.py
   macOS / Linux: python3 serve.py
4. Open http://127.0.0.1:8765/ in your browser.
5. Leave the terminal open. Stop with Ctrl+C when finished.

If that port is occupied, add --port 8766 and use http://127.0.0.1:8766/.
This small server uses Python's standard library and binds only to 127.0.0.1.
It installs no dependencies and does not expose the files to other computers.
Directly opening index.html may block JavaScript modules and JSON data.

CONTENTS
The released model, wellbore inventory, pools, geological edge evidence,
chapter content, figures and vendor libraries are bundled for offline viewing.
The main geological report and contour/edge guide PDFs are included.
The large map atlas PDF is supplied as a separate download to respect the
64 MiB hosted-file limit. Every atlas map image is still available offline.
The full set of map images remains available offline in figures/.
Portable 1x and 25x GLBs and the complete public-query source-record archive
are separate downloads. They are not duplicated inside this ZIP.
Local download cards list only included files. Original publications and links
back to GeoNavigate need internet access. Visit
https://geonavigate.ca/regional-geology-studies for the regional download cards.

CONTROLS
Use Whole, West-central or Central to change the camera view within the shared
model. The Viking, Mannville and Central presets select stratigraphic context.
Drag to orbit, right-drag to pan, scroll to zoom. On touch screens, one finger
orbits and two fingers pan/zoom. Formation and pool searches retain exact codes.
Custom contours accept a positive interval and optional origin. Choose a
supported top, base or gross interval; fine spacing does not improve source
resolution. Switch off Follow visible units to see independently published
zero edges for units with no numerical model surface.

EVIDENCE
The study spans 110W to 103.5W and 51.25N to 53.5N. Its 2 km grid is a
regional source framework, not a well-placement or small-pool reservoir model.
There are 45 display layers, 36 supported gross-interval layers, 346 pool
features and 66,732 bore records. Nulls and original source-support holes stay
unknown. Gross interval is not net pay. Published zero edges, erosion-surface
contours, model limits and modeled thinning are distinct evidence classes.

Named local Mannville members lack independently released reservoir surfaces.
Their pool outlines remain on an explicit reference plane. At least part of
66 pools has supported regional surface geometry; 280 remain reference-only,
and 26 combine supported geometry with reference portions or intervals.
The plane is not terrain, reservoir elevation, a fluid contact or water level.

The inventory contains 22,793 horizontal-class records and 26,598 published
plan traces. A plan trace is not a complete 3D survey. No surveyed 3D trajectory
is invented. Vertical illustrations require documented depth and retain their
assumption and datum basis. Missing depths remain null; a deepest picked top,
completion or core interval is not substituted for TD. Planned/cancelled records
retain their source classifications. Sample catalogue matches show availability,
not fresh physical inspection or re-interpretation of every sample or log.

Diagrams are original explanatory reconstructions unless explicitly showing
published source-local measurements. Nearby reservoir settings are conditional
hypotheses. They require correlation, rock quality, seal, charge and preservation
evidence; proximity to a pool does not establish reservoir continuity or reserves.

VR / PORTABLE USE
WebXR depends on a compatible browser/headset and secure-context support.
Desktop checks do not constitute a physical headset test. This loopback server
is accessible only on this computer. The separate portable GLBs carry explicit
axis mappings, source coordinates and 1x or 25x vertical exaggeration metadata.

ATTRIBUTION / INTEGRITY
Contains source-attributed public information from Saskatchewan and federal
geological authorities under the licences linked in the data source registers.
Interpretation is independent; government endorsement is not implied. Three.js
retains its MIT licence notice. package_manifest.json records bundled bytes and
SHA-256 hashes. The package is checked for CRC, manifest hashes, internal module
and data links, figures, PDF signatures and loopback-only serving before release.
