FORMATION EDGE / EROSIONAL SURFACE UPDATE — 28 OCTOBER 2026

The original public sources, licences, inventories and source builders are retained.
Current runtime snapshots include all .js, .mjs, .css, JSON and bundled vendor files.
This data archive is an analysis/reproducibility package; use the separate offline
browser ZIP for the full runnable viewer including figures and report downloads.

edge-update/sk contains the exact official GIS response caches, original service
metadata, retrieval hashes, regional projected/WGS84 outputs and acquisition code
where applicable. The SK acquisition script reads both regional model slug lists.
edge-update/mb contains the Manitoba contact cache, bounded MES controls, conflict
mask, interpolation/QC evidence and builder where applicable. Exact historical
workbook names and rows remain in mes_controls.geojson. Original source PDFs are
linked in evidence registers; new third-party report PDFs are not redistributed.

From the extracted root, run the regional edge acquisition/build script after
installing its documented Python libraries (numpy/scipy/shapely/pyproj/contourpy;
matplotlib for figures). Cached source JSON is supplied. The Manitoba builder
reads sites/sw-manitoba/dist and mb-research paths present in this archive.
Legacy builders retain the workspace path conventions documented in their code.

edge-update/shared/contour-math.mjs is the pure math used by live custom contours
and the augmented GLB export. Portable GLBs are separate complete downloads.
To re-export, generate original base GLBs with the retained site export script,
place the current viewer under edge-update/packages/<region>/dist, then run
edge-update/glb/augment_glbs.mjs <region> once on those base models. The companion
validation scripts check geometry, placement classes and shared math. Do not
apply augmentation repeatedly to already augmented portable GLBs.

The current archive manifest replaces the old top-level manifest. Its prior
version is preserved in edge-update/original_archive_manifest.json. All original
source members are retained; explicitly updated compiled snapshots and README
are identified in the new manifest. ZIP sizes/hashes inside study snapshots are
omitted to avoid self-reference; use the final online download catalogue.
